1969 Lotus Elan S4 SE convertible - Perfect restoration opportunity

Mileage 86303 from new.

Engine rebuilt many years ago but was excellent before "lay-up" 12 years ago.

The car has had many original replacement parts

But the car can be almost treated as a "Barn find" as now recommissioning required, and it would benefit from a respray. Being sold as spares or repairs

There are some "spares" to go with car including a genuine Elan S4 workshop manual, new factory hood and bumper etc

This car is 100% factory spec. apart from :- kenlow cooling fan (on electric on/off switch so pay attention to eng. temp. gauge, also electric fuel pump in use (original mechanical is fitted but needs new diaphragm, which means engine out to fit).

The engine cylinder head is still set for 5 star

The clutch slave cylinder needs new rubbers.

The clutch plate is stuck to fly wheel.

The Light Vacuum pipe system "T piece" to plemin chamber (front chassis cross member } has split.

Most of previous spares came from "Paul Matty, he has recently retired BUT "Classic Team Lotus" Hethel Norfolk have bought all his Stock is now carrying on under Pauls old parts manager
