Steve carried out his apprenticeship at a local garage in Devizes in the mid 1970’s. From a local family it was always anything engine powered that took Steve's interest, from bikes to carts to cars. Steve joined Dick Lovett Porsche at the age of 24 as a technician and stayed with the brand moving from Marlborough, Wiltshire to Swindon in the late 80’s. Rising to workshop foreman Steve was very much the 'go to man', fault finding, diagnostics, engine rebuilds you name it and Steve has done it. The oracle of air-cooled Porsches, he tends to leave the newer stuff to the younger generation. After 20 years with Porsche it was decided to go it alone. Well that was 20 years ago and the rest as they say... Outside of work Steve is very much a family orientated man and you may occasionally spot him touring in his motor-home.

Daniel, Steve’s eldest son, joined the family business at the age of 18 after studying 'A' Levels. After beginning an apprenticeship at the garage he soon decided getting his hands dirty wasn’t for him. Daniel pursued a career in car sales starting out with Vauxhall for a few years before making the move to a large Audi main dealer, although always remaining a Porsche enthusiast at heart. Daniel moved through the ranks at Audi for some 10 years gleaning all he could before moving back to the family business in May 2017. With the injection of Daniel's vast experience in sales, the business has now expanded into offering only exceptional vehicles for sale, predominantly Porsche. Although if you do require anything else please call and speak to Daniel. Daniel is into his country sports and, as well as the rest of the family, is a massive Chelsea FC fan.

Luke, Steve’s youngest son, again began his working career with a full time apprenticeship at the garage having had a good mechanical background already from his youth, tinkering with his motocross bikes. With a huge interest in Porsche, Luke completed not only his mechanical apprenticeship but also his advanced diploma...all whilst working on Porsche product. Luke now spends his time split between the workshop and running the front of house operation with an expansive knowledge of all things Porsche. Luke is currently spending all of his spare time doing up his house, currently having spent 10 weeks on his bathroom!

Malcolm is again an absolute Porsche man through and through, working predominantly for Porsche and Mercedes for over 30 years. Starting at Porsche Marlborough in 1980 his official role was collecting new cars from Reading to be delivered back to centres for pre-delivery to customers. He has spent more time in Porsches than most people ever will and has lots of stories to tell if you have time. You may see him if you need your car dropping back.

Ash joined us in October 2017 following a number of main dealer appointments. Ash is a technician through and through, spending most of his spare time working on friends and family members cars. He particularly enjoys getting involved with electrical and coding issues, his most recent project being a 2011 997 that had 24v put through it frying the entire electrical system - the car is now up and running of course. Ash has an immensely fast track day car apparently – although no one can verify this as it hasn’t left his garage for 5 years

Ian joined us in January 2019 after a long and varied career in the motor industry culminating in running a number of large dealerships. Not ready to hang his boots up yet Ian has been vital in keeping the business ticking along smoothly, from collecting and delivering customer cars to helping the guys in the workshop Ian is never shy to get stuck in. Ian absolutely hates having nothing to do, not that that happens often. In his spare time Ian will be found helping out on the family farm or tinkering with an old Land Rover.

Fuzz and Socks are the office dogs, Steve's King Charles and Daniel's Cocker spaniels will often be found in and around the office... usually waiting for treats...
